Frequently asked questions
A virtual consultation occurs online. Once you contact us expressing an interest in this option, we will get in touch to ask you which platform you prefer. We will then schedule an appointment online. The consultation is 30 minutes. We would ask you to upload photos before.
If the area is easily visible, we can usually have a look during the consultation. However if the area is a sensitive area, for example breasts, we would ask you to upload photographs before the consultation. Similarly if we need to see a more detailed image, for example a mole, we will ask you to upload it before for a higher resolution image.
In some cases a virtual consultation is sufficient to proceed with a treatment, for example minor surgery, non-surgical treatments. For other surgical procedures a clinic consultation is necessary to proceed. You will not be charged for a clinic consultation in this instance.
A mini consultation is suitable for those unsure about what is the right procedure for them and want to get a better understanding or costing. We will take a full history and do a focused examination. We cannot do a full consent process. A
